TRIMMING THE TAVERN - "HERE'S TO THE RED, WHITE AND BLUE!"

This year’s winter holiday event, Trimming the Tavern "Here's to the Red, White and Blue!" was a resounding success!

This year's theme was "Here’s to the Red, White and Blue" celebrating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. This community-wide seasonal event, led by the Country Garden Club of Weston, showcased local non-profits including the Weston Garden Club and the Weston Garden Club Evening Group, the Weston Public Library, Land's Sake Farm, the Weston Council on Aging, the Weston Art and Innovation Center and Weston Forest and Trail Association. These talented groups decorated the museum, upstairs and down, with creative nods to the theme.

We have been collaborating with the Country Garden Club of Weston on our holiday open house design for almost 60 years!

Last season's spectacular "Trimming the Tavern - "Let It Snow" was a resounding success. Every room of the Tavern was festooned with seasonal decorations and was enjoyed by over 500 guests.
