TOUR WESTON’s two oldest cemeteries WITH PAM FOX

Join us on Sunday, October 25th for a tour of Weston’s two oldest cemeteries with Pam Fox of the Weston Historical Society and author of "Farm Town to Suburb: The History and Architecture of Weston, Massachusetts". The tour is co-sponsored by Weston Historical Society and The Golden Ball Tavern Museum.

A talk followed by the walk will begin at 2 p.m. and end at 3.30. Guests are welcome to arrive at 1.45 for light refreshments before the introductory talk.

Did you know Isaac Jones donated the land for Farmer's Burying Ground and that he also sold 1.5 acres to the town for the creation of Central Cemetery, both in Weston? An additional acre was purchased from Isaac's grandsons in 1834. Isaac and many of his family members are buried in Farmer's Burying Ground. Many important Westonians are also remembered in these parcels.
