Cider was very important at the Golden Ball Tavern in Colonial times and is growing in popularity today. On Thursday, October 24th at 7:00 p.m. we are excited to collaborate with Artifact Cider Project, of Florence MA, for our first “Cider Then and Now: Talk, Tasting and Tidbits”.
What they say about their craft: “Artifact Cider Project produces craft cider in a variety of styles by respecting tradition, but refusing to let it limit us. Using local apples and innovative cidermaking practices, we create ciders that are as authentic, eclectic, and forward-looking as the region they come from.”
Guests will be treated to a talk about cider in colonial times interspersed with samplings of ciders from Artifact Cider Project. Light snacks will be available.
Our popular tastings sell out quickly. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience this fun and informative evening!
